In partnership with the Ministry of Women and Social Affairs, the Ministry of Planning and Development organized a support program for female students at Dimond School. As part of this initiative, essential hygiene supplies were provided to 250 female students from Hidase School who demonstrate leadership potential.
The program was attended by Dr. Fitsum Assefa, Minister of Planning and Development, and Dr. Ergoge Tesfaye, Minister of Women and Social Affairs, who expressed their commitment to supporting female students. They highlighted the importance of addressing the challenges that hinder female students from achieving excellence and productivity in their education and reaffirmed their dedication to this initiative.
The ministers underscored that enhancing the educational outcomes and participation of female students requires strong community involvement and support. They called for sustained efforts to empower female students and ensure their success.
