Ministry of Planning and Development employees and leaders celebrated the Day of Virtue.

The employees and management of the Ministry of Planning and Development celebrated the Virtue day by inviting the honorary founder of Macedonia, Dr. Benyam Belete.

The Minister of Planning and Development, H.E. Dr. Fitsum Asefa said that Macedonia is a symbol of virtue that embraces many citizens and it is an institution that is working including the responsibility of the sectors and society. Similar to this, goodness should permeate every action rather than just one day. Because “Pagume” is the Ethiopians' month as we enter the New Year, we have designated these days as crucial ones for our nation because we want this act to live on in people's hearts and be used to good acts.

According to state minister H.E. Tirumar Abate of the Ministry of Planning and Development, we have invited the Honourable Dr. Benyam Belete, the founder and owner of Macedonia, to join us in celebrating the Day of Virtue. She also stated that the Ministry is providing and plans to continue providing support for other organizations besides Macedonia. When we work together and support one another, we can solve the problem as a nation on the Day of Virtue.

 The state minister pointed out that our country, Ethiopia, is currently facing natural and man-made problems, so we should keep in mind that cooperation and mutual aid are the priority solutions.

Advisor and Head of Office of the Ministry, Shalom G/Dingel, said that virtue is not something we can talk about or do in one day, but having one day to facilitate and discuss the issue of virtue will make us do better and help. She said that it is our responsibility to create conditions for the regions to grow, so we have to leave our mark on the institutions together and until now, our support has been from a distance, but from now on, we will do our best by going closer and visiting them to understand what we can do.

Honorable Dr. Benyam Belete., the founder of Macedonia, who was present on the day, said that we have a family relationship with the ministry and I would like to express my gratitude for the support for everything we need.

I believe that everyone can help people because it is enough to be a person to help people, so everyone here at the institution can do this. “Pagume” days are being celebrated by the Ministry of Planning and Development with various events.
