Ethiopian Ministry of Planning and Development Donates to Macedonian Charity

Addis Ababa, November 15,2023 (MoPD)
 The Ministry of Planning and Development (MoPD) has donated office supplies, hygiene products, and various car parts to a Macedonian charity. The donation was made in support of the charity's work with mentally ill and elderly people.
The MoPD's donation included laptop computers, desktops, printers, shelves, tins, laundry detergent, hand soap, and adult diapers. The charity cares for more than 7,500 mentally ill and elderly people in Macedonia.  Mecedonia is currently constructing a hospital with 1,200 beds and a building for the elderly.
During a visit to the charity, MoPD State Minister H.E. Tirumar Abate said that the donation was not enough but was aimed at motivating and reminding other institutions to support the charity. She also said that it was very refreshing to see the work that the charity is doing.
Tirumar said that if everyone supports Macedonia, including donating their time, it will create great satisfaction and reach the nation. She also said that the MoPD will continue to support the charity.
The state minister also said that Macedonia is a charity institution where we can see a little Ethiopia. He urged people to fulfill their social responsibility by donating materials and clothes that they do not use at home.
The founder of Macedonia, Honorable Dr. Biniam Bele, said that he is very grateful for the MoPD's support. He said that the charity has received a lot of support from the ministry in the past and that he is particularly grateful for the donation of sanitary materials.
