Ethiopia Showcases SDG Acceleration Efforts at HLPF 2025 Side Event

At a High-Level Political Forum (HLPF) side event today, co-organized by the UK Government, the University of Sussex, and the Institute of Development Studies, Mr. Tegene Hailu, CEO of Plan and Public Investment Management Division at the Ministry of Planning and Development highlighted Ethiopia's significant progress and initiatives aimed at accelerating the achievement of the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) by 2030.

He drew a strong connection between this approach and SDG 1 (No Poverty - ensuring no one is left behind) and SDG 17 (Partnerships for the Goals - fostering global collaboration).
