Educating for a Sustainable Future.

At the sideline event that took place at COP 28 Climate summit at Dubai, the Ethiopian Environmental Authority (EPA) has hosted a panel discussion with a theme “Educating for a Sustainable Future”. 

The panel is aimed at bringing together education and climate action in efforts to stop the climate crisis. 

Speaking at the opening of the sideline event H.E. Sheikh Manssour Mussallan who is the secretary general of the organization of southern cooperation mentioned the roles of education in fighting climate change.

Other panelists also elaborated the role of gender inclusion in climate education and implementation. The event was moderated by H.E. Dr. Getahun Garedew who is the director general of Ethiopian Environmental Authority.
