A business forum in which the largest companies in the United Arab Emirates participated was held.

From November 30 to December 12, 2023, 28th International Climate Change Conference (COP28) in Dubai side by side a business forum which is held in can moreover help to promote the possible investment potential of our country. More than 30 big companies in the United Arab Emirates who have the potential to invest in Ethiopia participated in this forum.

At the forum, the H.E. Dr. Fitsum Assefa, Minister of Planning and Development (MoPD) of Ethiopia gave an explanation about our country's success in climate change, the role of private investors in the sector and investment options in Ethiopia.

In addition, H.E, Dr. Nemera Gebeyehu State Minister of Planning and Development, H.E Deputy Executive of Ethiopian Investment Holding, Ms. Melekthe Sahlu, and H.E Ambassador Aklilu Kebede gave presentations on the issue to the participants in two panel discussions.

In addition to this, a second part of the panel discussion was held with successful business organizations using various investment opportunities in Ethiopia. In the discussion, the panelists explained to the audience the advantages of working in Ethiopia using various investment options.

At the end of the discussion, the special advisor of the Prime Minister, Ambassador Taye Atsikslase, who was a guest, closed the program by giving a concluding speech.
